currypowder Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Is the pickguard wrong?Yea...Sure looks like he has a gold one in the photos on the record cover.I have a copy of their first album released in Great Britain, and that guitar has a pickguard just like on the tribute model. The album cover in the picture is their 2nd GB release, "Gonna Ball". Not sure why the pickguard is different in that pic other than he swapped it out for some reason.I would seriously like to own one of these, but I'm pretty sure the price is well into 5 figures and there's just no way I could ever justify that.
cmatthes Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 US made Gretsch/Fender "Tribute" model = Five figures easily!!
anotherfreak2 Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 That's a thing of beautyWhat's with the "space" behind the nut?
cmatthes Posted November 26, 2007 Posted November 26, 2007 Modern interpretation of the original "Zero Fret"??
kizanski Posted December 26, 2007 Author Posted December 26, 2007 I'm guessing the Setzer will go for the standard $25k... Cool guitar though! No! "Only" $8995! For $2K less, one could pick up one of these!
Guest Meshuggah Posted December 26, 2007 Posted December 26, 2007 You don't have the hair for the guitar Bud.
kizanski Posted December 26, 2007 Author Posted December 26, 2007 You don't have the hair for the guitar Bud. OH yea? Says who? In your face, Commodore!
Submariner85 Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 I don't like the "beat to shit" look and I don't understand how replica's of beat to shit guitars can demand so much money.
Disturber Posted December 27, 2007 Posted December 27, 2007 Man, that is cool as hell. I wish they hadn't reliced it though. For the price they will want for that thing I'd want it un-touched.
