Bluesking Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 Up for grabs is an excellent example of a P90 Special. Neck is medium - this doesn't feel like a pencil neck to me. Great looking grain in the wood - the cherry finish looks very sharp and is definitely my favorite color for the Specials. Cosmetic condition is good - around 8/10 (erring on the conservative side). It has a few bumps and bruises, but nothing through the finish. Original Hamer HSC is included and in good shape. I recently purchased this over at the Gear Page, but for whatever reason, I'm not bonding with it. No reason, really - it plays perfectly and has all the grunt and great rock/blues tone that it should. So, it's up on the block for $599 out the door. Paypal is cool, but buyer pays the fees. USPS MO works, too. I'll take a personal check if we've had successfull deals in the past. Price includes shipping and insurance. I've got several refs here, the Gear Page, and Ebay (174 perfect feedbacks under username Bluesking89).
Bluesking Posted February 21, 2009 Author Posted February 21, 2009 Sorry for the delay - pics coming tonight or tomorrow morning.
BubbaVO Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Does Hamer shield the cavities on those P-90 specials?
holLoWskull Posted February 21, 2009 Posted February 21, 2009 Does Hamer shield the cavities on those P-90 specials?yes.
medfox Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Any interest in a trade for a Creampuff Daytona in natural? Thanks
Bluesking Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Hadn't thought about a trade - I'm pretty much looking for a straight cash sale.I might be interested in a checkerboard Special or a SG Jr - that's about it. Both are a long shot..........Thanks!
Bluesking Posted February 25, 2009 Author Posted February 25, 2009 For HFC Members, I'll take $575 w/ Paypal and $550 with a USPS MO.BTW - that's as low as I'll go. Please forego the sub-$400 offers, folks.
Bluesking Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 For less than $600 - awesome P90 tone. It's like a sore di*k - you just can't beat it.
Bluesking Posted February 27, 2009 Author Posted February 27, 2009 Ebay sucks. I'd rather keep this one in the HFC family.
tubesrus Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 "Sigh" if I weren't so in debt I'd grab the special for sure, the necks I've seen on them are slim enough for my stubby fingers and I love the pickups, hot enough but not muddy like some. I sold a studio to a club member and it was so easy compared to ebay. The buyer knew what he wanted and I had my money in about half an hour. A club member gave me a great price so I was glad to do the same.
specialk Posted March 9, 2009 Posted March 9, 2009 I keep coming back to look at this beauty! If I wasn't so broke right now.... Good luck on your sale!sk
Armitage Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 $599? Is that all these go for? That's a Kick Ass guitar for $599!

zorrow Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 P-90's are the shit, no BS! Who'd be the lucky one?
acb Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 hard to believe no one has jumped ALL OVER THIS USA '93 P-90 SPECIAL with ORIGINAL HAMER CASE at the ridiculous price of $550... i would be all over it myself -- but i bought the same from another HFC member last year. sounds amazing, different than the bucker specials.courtesy bump for a MONSTER GUITAR!!
