The 97's a killer guitar, exceptional tone, and a really fantastic flamed finish. Plus, I just ordered 2 MORE ValveTech amps, a 50 watt EL34 head( my second one!!) and one of the AC 30 heads.I also have one of his 25 watt 6V6 2x10 combos. Anyone in Florida that wants to hear one of these amps, feel free to contact me. Rob is buiding some special amps for me with dual rectifiers and some other secret mojo and I'll be carrying them and selling them here in my studio. I'm willing to travel if you really are interested in buying one and hearing it first. serial Posted July 12, 2005 Posted July 12, 2005 Ohhh, that's a good lookin' one! Most of the ones I see have that uniform flame that I don't dig at all-this one looks great. Of course, I'm on a buying moratorium at the moment-and I enjoy breathing, so it wouldn't be wise to bring a new one into the house right now! I do want to hear a report on those Valvetechs though. I'm thinking about selling one of my amps and getting something I'll use more and those are on the short list.

BrewMaster got the very first 50 watter, which BLEW my mind, I immediately ordered one, and now Rob Pierce and I have added some new options which really makes the amp even more versatile, at the same time, simple like a 4 hole Marshall. cmatthes Posted July 15, 2005 Posted July 15, 2005 That is really the mid-90s "59 Burst". It was a bit more faded orange than true Cherry SB, probably to simulate a faded out LP. "Tangerine Burst" or "Orange Burst" are more descriptive terms, not the official Hamer finish.
