I have kept the cream of the crop and now its time to bear down and keep the rarest and Buy me somthing that has my name all over it, thats just for me. I'm gassing to buy a New Hamer and I can't keep them all. I don't really want to part with this one but I'll through it out there. 1979 Hamer Sunburst Darkburst, Awsome guitar, Awsome Player, Awsome Pups.. Great guitar. Seriously a fantastic guitar and the cleanest 70's burst i've had. Heres the run down. Finish is in great shape. Very little checking, strong Color, No breaks Pups- Original Neck pups and Period correct bridge. They are the most balanced set of pups besides my Gregwinds that I own. Almost Alico Pro territory with the soft attack and open balance. Electronics- Pots and jack were upgraded before I got the guitar. CTS pot but i'm almost positive that thats were the clearity and tone is coming from. Really did wonders for the guitar. Only issue with the guitar is the binding on the lower bout has come pulled away. I have talked to a two of our fellow HfC members who informed me that it was an easy fix. I tried to have it repaired before selling but I waited about 3 1/2 months and I finally retrieved it before the Luthier had gotten to the repair. Comes with a Newer Hamer Hardshell case. Pm me for price, Serious inquires only. Pics 3 on show a little line directly south of the pups straight down. Thats the binding area. Thanks for looking.

bubs_42 Posted August 1, 2009 Author Posted August 1, 2009 Good Question, but oddly enough no. Not Sunny today at all. Rained all day. BTW the back and the neck are as clean as the front. You will not be disappointed.Case is like brand new as well.

The Dot Neck 79's seem to have great necks. They are really close the the Mid 90's necks. This one is just right.The weight is 8lbs and a couple ounces. She's no pig!

A Daytona is no problem that was an easy fix. If I cut the neck off of this one your going to need a better Luthier..
