Agreed... being a '97 there's also an excellent chance it has the medium neck profile desired by the OP...

Really cool guitar.

I've learned this lessons a few times now ... sometimes in life you just have to dive in and do it. Think too much and ends up convincing yourself not to do it.

$1350 to me is close to a steal. I've been watching Standards only for a few years now and haven't seen one like that sell on Ebay for less than $1500.
