US Masters

Someone had a US Masters guitar in the For Sale forum a while back. I checked out the site and was impressed by the gear and the prices. What kind of experience and knowledge do you guys have about this company's stuff? I'm especially interested in the 30 watt tube combo for $699.

The earlier instruments I'd encountered were well-made but no frills...comparisons with early Peaveys or maybe S.D. Curlee might have a bit of validity, but just as a reference, not for side-by-side comparison. Woulda made a decent utility instrument, for the most part, based on what I could tell (have never gigged with one, but have gigged w/ Peaveys and S.D. Curlees...

Looks like they've upgraded considerably; have not checked out the newer ones like Greg posted images of...

I LOVE that purple model BCR posted (it's a Hornet, I presume?)!

Is this model still available? Do they do custom orders? Anywhere around the Chicago area carry them for a quick spin to check out the necks, ect?

Stunning guitars for sure. I especially like the purple SG with the cool inlays and the sunburst one right below it. Anybody know anything about their tube amp?

They ghost build for a lot of companies, even dealers. Carlino Guitars gets their Identity etc made there.

My Blackhawk "Black Beauty" (new explorer style) is arriving in about a week. They said yes to every feature I wanted...the online direct order forms don't tell the whole story...call or e-mail Dick with your specs.
