eightyfour Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 Typically I can't stand shredders, but this one I might actually play. A little disappointing that they chose to go with paint as opposed to something original and clever like a quilt or flame top.

Steve Haynie Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 I like that finish on that guitar. If you want to see some really cool flame paint jobs go to this site:Killer PaintCheck out the Tru Flame pictures.
Tres Aardvarks Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 bah, I'd play it!!! You just need some stage presence, can't just stand and look at your fingers.
Submariner85 Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Looks like a Jackson KellyRight? Wrong?
black magic Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 Yep, Jackson USA Kelly Custom Shop. Kellys ride on the body similar to the Standard. Beleive it or not, the Jackson Warrior balances better than the Kelly. I can`t wait to get my Custom Shop Soloist, probably in Late Winter, early Spring!! All natural mahogany. Jack.

billhart22 Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 I think it is cool! Wouldn't want to play it at church or anything, but the paint is hot!! Orange County Choppers would have a ball with it! I hear that painted pickups give massive sustain.Bill
AzCat Posted September 15, 2005 Posted September 15, 2005 Mike Learn painted that (and a bunch of others) for Jackson. His stuff is amazing if it's to your taste.
