diablo175
I was actually wondering that myself. Hair of the Dog could use some talkbox too. True dat... however, when we do it, I just use a lot of wah. It's a milder effect but it carries the spirit of the song.

earachemyeye
If nobody else wants to do it I'll give the AC/DC vocals a shot. I've done them before but prefer it to be at the end of my slot for obvious reasons.

murkat
Between working on guitars, and other stuff during a day in life.I have been taking time out to rehearse a bit.I have come to the conclusion that in all honestyI will not be able to sing the appointed songson the list that bears my name doing so.Crimson and Clover, yeah, no problem. I can do that.My throat is too sore from an oncoming cold, chain smoking, and stress to do it all right. J

MCChris
Suprised you haven't suggested a Cult song or two or something equally cool.I was gonna work up a Cult tune or two with Matthes but it doesn't look like he's coming. Maybe next time. They are great jam fodder, though. The Cult is like AC/DC in that their songs all revolve around the same chords.Anywho I got "Don't Tell Me You Love Me," "Train Kept A Rollin'," "Cowboy Song" and "Paranoid" all set to go on bass. You have your hands full on guitar!hehe! Yeah it is probably the hardest cover solo I have had the pleasure of learning. The speed stuff doesn't bother me but I am not use to using a whammy bar while doing pinch harmonics at the same time so I mess up sometimes as I have only had a fair amount of time with the song. I can usually get it on my amps but I will be using unfamiliar amps and a brand new Wampler Pinnacle pedal that I have played only once. Should be interesting. Our drummer had it down last night on Train Kept A Rollin but at these jams shit happens ! Just gotta keep on playing and smile. Jams are like karaoke: it's not about the ACCURACY of the performance but more the FUN/FEELING of said performance. Believe me, no one will be listening to you as much as YOU. So, have a blast and tear it up. Wish I could be there...
