Most of them are very cool but we do whether we like it or not represent Hamer Guitars. I love boobies just as much as the next guy but We have the outer circle for that. Thanks for outing me Ted.

That's the best piece of advice I've seen so far on the HFC. Just play. I'm sure you can imagine the small percentage of "players" here versus the guys who can use the internet very well. That was my original gripe in the "John Mayer bashing fest" post. Just play...not that I'm very good at that either

I did not suggest censorship in any form, I merely raised the question of whether the collective avatar "one-upmanship" had descended over the line into puerile tastelessness. Some will revel in what others find moronic. It's a free world. While I'm sure many of us could benefit from the advice of our betters to practice more, I'm not sure what relevence that has to the topic. I do appreciate it, however, and I'll try to do better. That's sarcasm, by the way.I will also continue to bash John Mayer relentlessly. He is an ass and he deserves it.

The avatars are gone. Ted didn't force anyone to take them down, it was done voluntarily, so nobody can really claim to have been censored. Being one of the 'offenders,' I certainly don't feel like I was censored by a couple of whining nancyboys who are afraid of anyone finding out that they like to look at, and actually appreciate, the naked female form. Nope, I don't feel that way at all. Ok, I'm just kidding about that last part. I apologize in advance if that offended anyone. And Dave doesn't need to get rid of the Wisconsin Badger, even though it's creepy and they're not as cool as the UoM Gophers. Oh, and I do play my guitars (or 3/4 of them) just about every day...and I average about 2 or 2.5 hours worth of play time. No, I'm not a very good guitarist, but I *can* play the shit out of any I-IV-V in E, G or A. Sometimes C, but never D. Do I spend a lot of time on the internet? Yeah...because I don't watch TV. And I type ~98 WPM, so I can outpost most of you basement keyboard wanker forum junkie wannabes any day. (I'm kidding...I think this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion)
