The Legacy Special is worth checking out if you like the look and feel of a "Strat" but want something beefier, soundwise.

Is the serial # plate screwed on to the back of the headstock as it appears to be in the pic? Never saw that before.

You are looking at a 2002 Gibson ES 135 that has a few upgrades to make this baby a rock machine!!!

A Bigsby was added and a roller bridge. AND a Mother of Pearl Gibson logo headstock overlay with a cool lil alien head was added for some extra bling. (was done by a professional luthier) This baby has beautiful wood, and KILLER TONE!!! It has Gibson 57 classic pups (ones with PAF sticker on the back) and Grover tuners.

There is one blem on the guitar, there is some finish checking on the back of the heel joint...there is no sign of the guitar being dropped, im not sure why its doing that? The rest of the guitar has normal play wear...nothing terrible.

It comes with the OHSC, which one of the handle brackets is broken, but could easily be fixed by a handy person. The original tailpiece is included.

The neck is a Med/chunky D shape....nice and straight. It weighs 9.5 lbs. There is no pickguard included.

Diora Baird, in a scene from the movie "YPF".

You'll have to look that one up, but it's worth watching for her alone.

Ahhh, I thought that evh clone looked familiar. I remember seeing it on the ebmm site.

I'm Tollie over there. I now register myself with a phonetic spelling so people pronounce 'Tollie' as Tah-lee, not Toll-ee.

This is a 2002 H 150 Goldtop that was custom ordered with an Ebony fretboard ($300 upgrade) and a belly cut ($100 upgrade). This Kalamazoo made beauty features a ONE PIECE mahogany body with a maple top and a one piece mahogany neck. Cream bound body and neck, nickel nashville hardware, nickel grovers. This guitar is loaded with custom wound Alnico II zebra hummbuckers, made by a friend here in MI...they sound FABULOUS!!!! Also included is the original Heritage HSC, original hangtag and warantee card. There are a couple small dings on the top...no breaks or repairs. This baby plays and sounds fabulous!!!

No dissapointments!

This guitar with these upgrades would sell for nearly $2500 in a store, but you can have this gently used tone beast for $1500 shipped (you cover PP fees)

Thanks for looking!!!

I'm posting this for a friend....

You are buying an incredible example of guitar history. If you're considering this guitar, then you probably know that this guitar was made by the Gibson employees that made the famed Gibson guitars of the 1950's and 60's like the Les Paul and ES-335 at the original Gibson factory in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This classic example is based upon the original design of the Les Paul to include the sharp cutaway and Goldtop finish Les himself requested. This particular model is about 1/2 thinner than a typical Les Paul, making it much easier to play for longer periods being lighter without the chambered Swiss cheese Gibson produces today. To round out this guitar, it has original Grover kidney tuners, Nashville bridge and tailpiece as well as Gibson 57 classic pickups in open coil black bobbins. The guitar has a solid mahogany body, thick bound maple cap. 24.75" scale neck, in a slim 60's neck profile, rosewood fretboard, mother of pearl dot inlays, and a bone nut. This guitar is twenty years old, so it has some of the natural wear of a real nitro finished guitar. It does have some checking and wear marks on the edge of the top, back of the neck, and some finish checking, to include a checking mark on the rear of the headstock's stinger, but it is NOT a headstock crack. The original Schaller tailpiece rubbed some of the finish off the top, but otherwise, she looks good for her age. OHSC

$900 pp/shipped
