Moose Posted November 5, 2012 Posted November 5, 2012 Some very special Hamers for sale. All with OHSC in excellent condition.First, Korina Junior. This isn't a normal Junior, it's one from a special run done in 03, vintage tuners, inlayed logo, and the like. I think it was the only one of the run done in Jazzburst. It was once described to me as "Rare as hen's teeth".This thing is an absolute featherweight, Vintage neck, extremely resonant, and very nice sounding. Also surprisingly versatile. This is probably the finest gutiar I have ever owned, and I've played other Juniors that don't even come close, even though they are nice guitars.Near mint, except for a tiny dent (less than the top of a ballpoint pen) that you can't see unless you hold it to the light at an extreme angle. Comes with what looks like a copy of the build cert -- which is what I got with it.Selling this is one step short of selling a kidney. I'll never be able to replace it.$1479 shipped and paypalled. I'll do international for actual shipping difference.http://toneslut.com/images/guitars/junior/'>More pics at: http://toneslut.com/images/guitars/junior/ Feel free to ask me any questions.'81 sustain block vector.SOLD'96 wrap studio -- crowned NOT boundAnother "hen's teeth" type of guitar. I don't think I've ever seen another crowned that wasn't bound studio of the era.Wrap bridge, really tight and beautiful flame, in fabulous condition for a 96. Neck is slightly beefier on the shoulders than other 96s I've played, but still not quite as round backed as the mid '00 vintage profile. Very comfortable, and it has the mid '90s belly cut and wrap bridge, which are features I wish hamer never dropped. This one has WCR pickups, and specifically the Peter Green set. Really great for that Gary More tone most of the time, but pull the tone pot up and it flips the phase of the neck pup so you get that Peter Green "Black Magic Woman" tone. The reverse tone is cool, but the stock tone is absolutely classic PAF. These are my second favorite pickups behind the Filmores, and about a $300 upgrade alone. I have the original pups if you want me to swap 'em in, but it's worth the extra cost with the WCRs. Believe me. OK, new deal. You have the choice of pickups and of new, lower pricing.$1079 shipped and paypalled. with WCR Pickups -- Filmore bridge and Crossroads neck in Zebra with the bridge on a switch for single-coil tone. These pickups are zebra, not chrome like pictured. $925 with stock pickups -- chrome as pictured, Duncan 59 neck and JB bridge This is both a fantastic player and an oddball with the crowns. Chance for something unique that sounds fantastic at a great price.http://toneslut.com/images/guitars/96Studio/'>More pics at http://toneslut.com/images/guitars/96Studio/TSO Newport$ SOLDhttp://toneslut.com/images/00Newport/'>More pics at: http://toneslut.com/images/00Newport/Feel free to contact me with any questions or offers. Also, please look at my pedals for sale in this old thread: http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/topic/56832-pedals-for-sale-price-drop/'>http://www.hamerfanc...ale-price-drop/Edited 11/28 to drop prices

kizanski Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Yeah yeah yeah... Where are we with the selling-me-back-my-Daytona?
rugby1970 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Newport still available? I looked closely at the pics and must have missed the scratch you reported at the f-hole.
Moose Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Newport IS available. The scratch is VERY mild and on the surface. I couldn't get it to appear on the photos, but you can feel it with your finger and you can see it if you hold the thing up to a good light. And Kiz -- your daytona is in Melbourne. It is WELL played, and the main gigging axe for Don Kohinga's (Asatplayer) friend, who really makes it sing.
Moose Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Vector is sold.Others still availble.-Moose
Moose Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 More interest, but the deals aren't closed. If you want the studio cheaper, I'll slap in the original pups. Make me an offer?
django49 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 I am "overbought" these days. However, if I WAS buying another Artist, I think those upgraded pickups and wiring would be killer!
Moose Posted November 9, 2012 Author Posted November 9, 2012 You've got an awesome guitar coming -- and the shipping box arrived this afternoon so it'll be on its way before the weekend.I actually don't want to sell the pups, but they're replaceable and really make that guitar sing. I'm just not a fan of JBs, I guess. I've got another set of WCRs here to go in a guitar I'm building, so having the green set is kind of superfluous... still, they are supremely cool for what they are.I had them in an artist for a while and they rocked there, too. I actually liked them better in the artist than the crossroad/filmore set I had in it before, though I really like a filmore bridge in a Studio for an early ZZ-top or Duane Allman type tone. Some days I wonder if I'm the only one who hears the difference, but I've got good amplifiers and good guitars, so I can pick out the subtleties, even if my hands don't do the instruments justice.
django49 Posted November 9, 2012 Posted November 9, 2012 Cool! Shoot me the tracking # when you have it and I will follow 'er in!Good thing I am not still in SoCal. I have a hunch that if I plugged in that one I would do something to get myself in trouble.
Moose Posted November 10, 2012 Author Posted November 10, 2012 Just to be clear, these do all have OHSC. I keep getting inquiries.
Moose Posted November 19, 2012 Author Posted November 19, 2012 Newport back on sale -- buyer backed out and I have to move it to pay him back. Help a brother out and get a bargain at the same time.Edited the original post to lower all prices.
