I paid around $1,275 for mine. Brand new, never played/sold, with warranty card and all the case-candy. A NOS guitar is rare, I'd buy at that price easy.

Agreed. If it is really a Studio Custom, that's a steal.

I am assuming that is 1000 Euros(?). If so, I suppose that is a bit less than $1400. Still a good price for NOS. How old? Anything custom?

USA-made guitars tend to be expensive (new AND used) in Europe, because of taxes and tariffs and whatnot; PLUS (and especially BECAUSE of), the attraction of it being USA-made...regardless of whether it's a Hamer or not. A NOS Hamer USA Studio Custom for E1000? If it's all THAT, I'd say get it NOW! :)

I am sorry - it IS Euro, and including shipping and pp it will be around 1200 Euro (1600$).

Nothing custom as far as I can see.

Thanks for the heads uo.

I would trust cynic estimation (rather market specialist) and see that a good Custom is around 1100 and 1300 USD so with everything, this can be easily 1200 EUR.

Welcome in Europe for the Custom.

Bound body and fretboard with crown or Victory inlays? If Victories it would be fairly recent.

Thats what I got so far - nice top, I would say, and the card looks good. What do you think? I am a bit nervous, a foreign seller I never dealt with...

A very good deal...I would remember a Woody Allen : Never make a deal with someone whose name is "angelo".. but this is either untrue and innapropriate as well...So Mercatinomusicale is a good place to check sometime ;)
