The Shark Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 I'm reasonably sure I'm the only person in the initial Ultimate offering that is really interested in no flame or quilt. I want a plain top. I've been told a perfectly plain top is very difficult to find. I'm begging Mike to make mine "plain". And blonde. I'll also feel better about what I paid for it!

velorush Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 Something like this? I think that is beautiful. I've often thought if I bought a Les Paul I'd much prefer a plain top over a figured top. On the Ultimate, however, I think I'd prefer a more figured piece of wood. The differences are going to be yet another great thing about the Ultimate run!
