DavidE Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Freaking amazing gig(s) last night. Great band before us, but the crowd didn't seem to care. My acoustic duo played while our roadies brought in our band gear and within a few songs we had the place. Hot ladies up at the front of the stage (obviously not for me). We played for a while, kicked ass and then took a break to sound check the electric gear. Then we rocked the house. Huge tent filled with hundreds of people. Including the real George Killian who was there signing autographs.Much of my band is in another band (with three additional members, one of whom I play with in another band) and they followed us. But the monitors were so horrible that their singer lost her voice after maybe six songs. They did a few without her and still had an hour to play. So, I jumped back on stage with the singer from our band and we ended up playing out the night. Girls on stage (this time two incredibly hot ones for me) and just killed. Ah.... life is good. Glad I took the morning off. Now it's time to go to work.
