I guess it all depends on what condition it's in... Mint?.. Good?.. Lots of fret wear?.. beat to shit?.. there is one that's listed on Dave's Guitars for $695 but "WARNING" it's been listed 3 times now

Definitely over $1000. It's Korina, and a beautiful and incredibly well made guitar.

Somebody must've liked it or decided to take a chance with the finish issues, it's not there now.  The Trans-green Diablo is still there, though.

Snagged its twin in essentially NOS condition a year or two ago for ~$1000.  I thought I got an exceptionally good deal.

Similar here. Mine's a 2000 with that goofy teardrop trc (why the fuck does that bother me so much? it does.), pretty close to immaculate, one extremely small chip in the clearcoat.

As noted above, depends on condition, but holy shit it's a bargain anywhere near the $1k range if you think about it just a little. And by think about it, how much would it cost for a very high quality US boo-teek maker to do something remotely similar?

I still want its twin of the 2HB flavor, hope I can get my shit together before the market figures out how underpriced they are.

Anyone know if that much nicer trc is available (with or without the 'Artist' engraving, ideally without) and if it will fit as a direct replacement for that ugly blob?

Anyway, did you score something cool T-51Fred?

Mine aren't exactly twins. One is kind of plain and the other is all Jazzed up. Both are nice but not "mint"

I wouldn't part with either for less than 12 and would have to really need the money to sell at all.

From what I've seen, it would cost at least twice that to replace one with any  other brand, and even more to get the quality of an '01 Hamer.
