got a blackface reverb tank from The Amp Shop, the  others?, still fumbling over low power boosts, and playing more than 4 notes...le sigh

You got to say what the price is (Forum rule).

this time I demand actual shipping be paid. haven't you dragged my things away, previously? shipping being paid would be awesome, as a small rule, no?

so I re-boxed it up with the instructions. got it at Music City on Tunnel Road. it's supposed to be well made at $199 back then.

pick it up whenever steve

lol, I opened the box and a sticker and bag popped out. box has the bar codes on it. Hope you tell me later it is all there.

ready to go. supposed to be the shiz, for reverb ($185 new), but I never got to it, and since I can be loud now, and The AmpShop building reverb tanks....

going back ti Bill Altman's lessons with as few knobs as possible. left shoulder-blade is growing back together. (we hope)..

Steve's a very generous guy - I think the best unstated rule would be to maybe either pay the good deed forward in kind or find a nice charitable donation to a kid or music program or something.

His hot sauce is also freakin' awesome...

Yeah my friend, In my local community I typically buy used instruments for kids in need and distribute them to the various Middle schools.  They all know to get with George in august so I can find what they need to donate (we are talking wind instruments for the most part)  But I have setup many many younguns with guitars amps stands and the like to get them rolling with something thats actually playable.  There are a few good Guitar, Bass, Piano schools that contact me for those things.  I just bought my community band (I play trumpet) 20 manhassett stands because the school board refuses to replace 20 year old stands.  that was a 600 dollar donation but was of dire need for the kids of that particular high school that we practice in as a community Concert band.  Not to toot our own horn but we did win the silver Sudler scroll, that kind of puts us in the top bands in the USA...Anyway I like to help kids in need in anyway that I can...Just an FYI in case you guys have old band instruments I'm always trying to find stuff for them.. -G

So, who is getting what out of this?  Not to be an ass, but there are so many replies, I'm not sure if you are talking about me or if someone else really needed it then it would be that person.  I am certainly not trying to make things difficult for such a generous PIF, just trying to get some clarification brother.-G

I think any time any of us can help get somebody interested or pass along a small bit of good fortune gearwise, we help keep this fun guitar thing going.  There's also that slim chance that one of us out there might turn around or save a life, or at the worst, help create a lifelong passion for an instrument.

This is Exactly what I do for my small 150k community.  The Federal, State and Local government does ZERO to help with the arts program.  They were teaching Protools in one of the high schools with nothing but a book on Protools, No recording equipment whatsoever, Sooo, I built them a recording studio with everything needed for them to record a song from start to finish in that program.  It really was ridiculous. Now they are at least ready and familiar with what will be required of them in the Music Media program at our Local College - The University of Louisiana...Sometimes it better to try and help others rather than yourself, that is just my opinion. -G

I am sorry, I was not aware that PIF means that the stuff is being sold for nothing except costs of shipping.

That is very generous of you!

So again, my apologies (and I do not need anything, already have too much stuff).

And with that I'm going to step away from the Dispatch Master leaving it for someone else. I will instead pledge the full amount to the local Lupus Foundation chapter here in Madison. My niece is afflicted with this wicked and largely unheard of disease. We participate in the walk every year to get the word out and this year we'll put an extra couple hundred in the pot. If you don't know what Lupus is, check it out:

I appreciate such a generous offer Steve, and I apologize for the bad form, but this one is near and dear. Sorry it's not a music thing, but thank you for getting me off my butt to do a little more this year.

And everybody else - the Dispatch Master is an awesome sounding lush reverb/delay pedal. Highly recommended.

Going through the same type thing here brother, My oldest daughter(14) has been out of school with a undiagnosed disease since August 2016, we have been to every doctor, everywhere.  The latest is that it is quite possibly Lyme's disease that she contracted years ago and is just now showing chronic symptoms (by just now i mean August of 2016)  I do NOT want to offend any doctors that may be on this board, but they have been of little use other than to tell us what she did not have and drain my bank account with rerunning tests and putting her through surgeries that were unnecessary, but when a doctor tells you it will fix your daughter, you do it.  I stopped at, She needs her Gall Bladder removed, we got 2 (TWO) other opinions out of my pocket again and both said "Negative, she has nothing wrong with her GALL BLADDER at all" .  So of course our very expensive Insurance reset Jan 1 2017 which means the first 7k is out of pocket.  We reached that in approximately 1.5 months and still no answers.. Since I live in South Louisiana most (All) of the local doctors tell us Lyme's disease is a myth and it can't be Lyme's, No tests No anything, Just a we don't believe in Lyme's disease.  So we are not able to use our VERY expensive insurance anymore until a doctor will proclaim she has Chronic Lyme's Disease.  On top of Josie's problems as most of you know my middle child Julian(9) has Down's Syndrome and has been acting out and getting to be almost to the point where we cannot handle the outbursts.  There is treatment and therapy that we will have to pay for again out of pocket since the Federal government says I make too much money (I do not) to help us with a disabled Childs Therapy.  It is sad.  Sorry to derail but Hammerhead hit a nerve that I had to at least speak out about.  I hold everything in since I AM A MAN bull, but I am at my wits end with the whole government, medical community thing.  Thanks for listening guys, Music is my only outlet, I work and deal with these things and the only thing I have that makes me forget is MUSIC, thank GOD for that as it is an extreme help.
