That is totally cool!  Nice touch.  I don't think I've ever opened up the control cavity of mine.  It looks like it may be as immaculate, if not more so, than my unmodified Hamer.

Call me spoiled then because one of the things Hamer got us to expect was those perfect control cavities.  If it can be taken up to a new level, we can count on Mike to be the one that does it.

Steve Jobs often mentioned about high quality furniture makers wouldn't use cheap plywood on the back of a chest of drawers just because no one would see it.
