diablo175 Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 I was curious if anyone knew which make/model p'up this is in the Fath double neck Cali. I'm not wanting to un-string and pull it out it just to check... just yet. 2 rows of hex bolts. Thinking Dimarzio but not sure.
Jeff R Posted June 12, 2018 Posted June 12, 2018 Two rows of hexes ... Dimarzio PAF Pro? Edited to add I just remembered a Duncan Full Shred is a double hex too.
HAMERMAN Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 If you can go by the pictures I can find it looks like it's a Dimarzio if the mounting tabs are triangular and brass colored and Seymour Duncan if they are rectangular and silver.
bubs_42 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 It is a Full Shred, I have no doubt and your welcome.

On a separate but related question - does anybody have an idea why bobbins have the holes in them at all? Is it a place for equipment to hold on to them during manufacturing or something like that?
bruce919 Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 the two round holes are for the screws that hold the bobbins to the base plate. The square hole is a pokeoke feature to ensure the bobbin is mounted properly to the winding machine.

cmatthes Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Maybe he was talking about a welcome that belonged to you?
