straightblues Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 Just showed up on my local Craigslist for $750 (March 24th around 3 pm). Not sure if he would ship or not. Long Beach California listing. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/lgb/msg/d/long-beach-hamer-steve-stevens/7098382162.html This is a PSA. I don't have any affiliation with the seller and I don't know him.
soli'd Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 No breaks? Maybe a reflection or something at the headstock in that rear shot?

cmatthes Posted March 25, 2020 Posted March 25, 2020 It's a 1986 model. The first digit of the serial is a "6". The seller (like 97.8953% of people selling SS guitars) thinks it's an '84 because of the headstock label that memorializes the 1984 signature agreement between Hamer and Mr. Stevens.

Steve Haynie Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 A lot of those guitars with the locking nut screws going through the back of the neck have finish cracks around the holes. Proceed with caution because it could be a neck crack, but possibly not.
HoboMan Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Anybody know what the neck profile is like. How about the nut width? What was the weight like on these in general?

HoboMan Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 I'm drooling over this one but I'm on a spending freeze right now until everything calms down. https://reverb.com/item/32710378-hamer-steve-stevens-ss1-1986-usa
