DBraz Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Much as I like the look of a Scepter V this one seems to have had an eventful life.
cmatthes Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Decent project guitar, but that’ll need plenty of work...
JustKid Posted August 28, 2020 Posted August 28, 2020 I wouldn't exactly call it a "project". Headstock obviously will need some improvements, and there is no serial, but paintjob looks pro and other issues are strictly mechanical, like ugly ass tuners placement. ...And it's gone, just noticed. I bet it'll pop up on ebay or something. This below was a project, and it sold for over $1500 if I am not mistaken, in 2016 and I haven't seen any since then, or before that...actually good question - has anyone seen one for sale?...and I'm not talking over $3K, although I didn't see them even for over $3K. And I've been willing to get one for the last 10-15 years to turn it into KK mini V
Samuelc12qw Posted August 28, 2020 Author Posted August 28, 2020 1500 for that? Wow, it’s kind of understandable
serial Posted December 2, 2020 Posted December 2, 2020 I think I sold it for $150 (I know I bought it for that without yhe neck finish stripped).

Looks like the Scepter V might be right up your alley as its Fender scale 25.5... with a Floyd and 3 way toggle switch... 1st photo is 12-fret fret Hamer Scepter Vee scale length

But even if I could get past the 22 frets, it's sold anyway!
Dave Scepter Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Yup, that would have been perfect for a resto-mod
