This is an excellent t tutorial on getting a wide variety of tones from clean to massive snarling distorted mayhem from one pickup, one vol pot, one tone pot, and a germanium booster..... bass cut  is appropriate, I always thought it should have been called an upper-mid booster... Or guitar frequency exciter...but who is gonna buy a pedal called that?
