LucSulla Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 How does the shorter scale affect the tone vs. a traditional strat?

It still does the Strat tones and in-between sounds. I've built a couple of Warmoths with Gibby conversion necks. I love 'em. This one having the P90 sounding pickups is a bit different (in a good way) just bigger sounding. It has more of a Strat/TV Jr. kind-of-thing going on.
Dave Scepter Posted September 29, 2021 Posted September 29, 2021 Does the bridge have to be moved up to accommodate the 12th fret to bridge saddle length?

Nope. The bridge is in exactly the same position. You can change out the neck if you want to a standard Fender 25-1/2" with no mods.

dhuber Posted September 30, 2021 Posted September 30, 2021 Congrats to they buyer and seller. I'm glad I was out of town when this was listed or I might have another guitar in my collection. My question is. When you do a 24-3/4 conversion scale to a Strat, is it as simple as changing the neck or do you have to change the bridge also, or do you have to change the bridge position on the body?

Nothing to change. The bridge stays the same. Just pop a new neck on it and adjust intonation.
