SOLD -- 2002 Hamer Monaco SuperPro

There have been a few SPs for sale lately, so I'll add this one to the pile for what seems to be the going rate these days.

100% stock (the factory pickup combo is magical IMO). I played it a lot so there are some string indentations on the first four frets; a level and dress would do wonders, but as far as I can tell, playability is not yet affected.

The guitar also has the requisite cracked knobs plus about a half dozen tiny dings in the top close to the output jack in a semicircle. Almost looks like something bit it. Itwasn't me, I swear! It was like that when I got it.

Weight: 8.0 lbs. on my digital scale.
Neck:  1.706" W  0.933" D (1st fret); 1.981" W 0.966" D (12th fret)

OHSC included.

CONUS shipping only. Zelle and Venmo accepted, as is PayPal (F&F is appreciated if you're comfortable with that; regular PP is fine otherwise).

Email is the fastest / easiest way to reach me: hereinliestherub at hotmail dot com

It's easy to hit that zero button when the jaws aren't closed, I've done that before, you look at the measurement and go wait this doesn't seem right🤣

  • MCChris changed the title to 2002 Hamer Monaco SuperPro -- $2000 shipped CONUS

You would know, as would @jisham!

Open to reasonable offers on this one. What constitutes reasonable? In the parlance of our times: f*** around and find out!

Any offer below the already reasonable price is tragic IMHO. The Superpro is a wonderful and amazing guitar, the “Grand Piano” of the Hamer Line.

Totally agree with the grand paino description! Price is more than fair

I am officially retired from buying Hamers.

Just Hamers?  Are you buying other brands?
Don't go half-pregnant, bubs.

I’ve owned them all by know don’t you think? My taste out weighs my talent and I like what I like.

So, you're Hamer-less?

I’ve been Less-Hamer for a long while. That’s why I bought the Monaco Special M, but now I have three Shishkov’s. As far as other brands, it’s SG’s and Telecaster. I’d like to spit out one SG and one Tele and turn them into a Gretsch Jet Firebird.

Or...you could just buy a Gretsch!

(You won't regret it!)
