I think so. No country of origin on the back of headstock.

It is a Velocity 2.

Korean built until maybe 2003, then bounced between Indonesia and China and the design changed a bit.  That’s one of the older Padouk (MIK) ones, most likely.  Very heavy beasts, but they sound and play decent overall.  I brought mine to a sketchier gig as a backup.

I ended up leaving it at our old guitarist’s studio and honestly forgot about it.

It’s not a route.  It’s flush with the top and is just the way the neck is set.

more neck in the body for a more solid neck/body connection?  Notice the location of the fifth screw in the rear photo above.
