Custom pick guards. Who makes them?

I know W.D. makes pickguards but not sure whether they can also wire them up.

Any suggestions as to who can fabricate custom pickguards and wire it up?

Along with WD, Pickguard Planet (Chandler) has been doing great custom guards for decades. I got my first custom guard from them in the 1980s. More recently they did the guard for my time capsule resto '55 Junior.  https://www.pickguardplanet.com/

I don't know of anyone who actually cuts/fabs custom pickguards AND populates them under the same one-stop-shop roof. What specifically are you trying to get done?

I've always had good experiences with Tony at Pickguardian.

Coincidentally, Josh Gravelin recommended them as well.

I'm hoping to create a replacement for the recently acquired So-Cal San Dimas.  Want a H/S with the S being a Sustainiac. As a result, the guard will need to include the 2 mini toggle controls for the Sustainiac, a Vol and Tone pot and a 3 way toggle.

I know from personal experience both WD and Chandler will make the guard you describe. You just have to supply a tracing of the original guard, its mounting holes, and where you specifically want all the pickups/drivers, pots, switches and any other holes located. Be sure to include hole diameters. Then instruct the selected fabricator to drop-ship the completed guard to whoever you commission to populate it. That will save you a week of extra turn time and a second shipping expense.

I also agree with using Paul "Chandler"... he does great work and as said, you can either send in a trace with the info or send the original PG and he'll just send it back with the new one...

I’ll also add a positive for WD.  I got a new guard for my Peavey T-60 a number of years ago cut without controls as I was reducing the number of them.
They had it on a selection and I didn’t have to send the tracing. Fit perfectly and is still on it.

Cool!  What pickups are those?

Ultrasonics, a very short-lived Bill Lawrence project from the '80s, Peter Fung loaned them to me to try and they are fantastic..definitely keepers

I got one from https://pickguardheaven.com/ for my Vector12 yrs or so ago, and was a perfect fit/lineup. They don't seem to carry Hamer guards anymore, not much demand I'm sure.
