Sparky Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 No affiliation. A beauty, and appears to be in really good shape for its age. https://reverb.com/item/80034838-hamer-standard-1980-early-4-digit-serial-natural

Dave Scepter Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Beautiful and in great shape, but kinda thin nut width for me 😕

velorush Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 Kudos to the seller for listing the neck spec! Beauty of a guitar.
Drew816 Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 PERFECT neck for me, not so perfect a price. MAN that bugger is amazing, perfection! Maybe if I sell a kidney?Â
ChugD Posted February 28, 2024 Posted February 28, 2024 So is this still the consensus on 4 digit Hamer's?   This one looks inky. I have seen stamped 4 digit serials cross the block for a similar price so is this an extra elevated price? I guess what I am having a hard time picturing is how these serial numbers co-exist if the "real" 4 digit serials were stamped into the wood. Are there duplicates or am I just seeing this wrong? Â

stonge Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 wow - that is spectacular! the price might be a little optimistic but it's nice to see a 4-digit getting a little respect. so if 0506 is a 1980 build, what year would 0109 have been built? just asking for a friend lol...
gorch Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Guys you didn’t see it? It’s a five digit, at least what I see in Euros.   … but great!
