Chris nails it. The New York Guitar Show was like going to a porn convention. I've gone to the one in Fairfield, CT a couple of times recently and one that is trying to get going out on Long Island. The one in FFD is VERY small. The other is promising if they can get more vendors.

Any guitar show is worth a 90-minute drive!

There's NO comparison. While FatDawg is a sloppy site, I can pretty much see all guitar pics in less than 5 minutes.

Which is the LAST thing I want when I visit a website, much less one where I'm trying to find rare guitars. It's hard enough to find oddities and get really irritated by some store that thinks it's cute to have some asinine site that is as complicated as can be. That's a sure fire way to get me to NOT come back ever.

This. I'm actually a little surprised at the negative reaction to the Fallon appearance. He's been that bad for a good long while. I've never been a fan of his in the first place. I don't know why, but I YouTube'd some of his live performances a couple of years ago (maybe it was when his last album came out) and was, honestly, appalled. Sloppy as hell. And just nothing...there. It's amazing to me he's had any sort of career after KISS to speak of. I know everyone has their own tastes and such, but I truly do wonder if Ace die-hards hear something completely different than the rest of us - or just fool themselves into not wanting to face reality.

That was painful to watch and listen to. Ace is so out of key, it's not even funny. Also, what's the deal with the black tape covering the brand of his guitar??? I see this a lot on TV shows.
