Look forward to seeing the end product and the report. Is it me or do those Diablo SGs seem to to be begging for a regular or reverse Firebird headstock?

I prefer the underside of upper V point and at the neck heel/ neck/ body joint- just looks cleaner but minimizing neck dive is king, here.

I'd consider putting it on another build. But that's contingent on factors outside of the functions I've already cited. I might see if I can get a Steeler on my SG Diablo. Then I'd have another Swiss army knife utility guitar that could also channel the appropriate vibe for the classic hard rock tunes like AC/DC, Sabs, Alice Cooper, Zep, etc.

Was just making some menial contributions to finishing it up- installing hardware: tuners, retainer bar, locking nut, etc. This afternoon: trem anchors and posts, killswitch volume pot and strap buttons. Possibly the bridge itself.

On another thread, there was some discussion of the Zelinsky La Voce. Longer discussion, but if someone does have an interest, GC does have a used one at what seems like a pretty fair price (with case upgrade) with the 10% knocked off. FWIW, something less than I paid for mine....

Probably not close enough, but.....I have a pair from a Hamer Vanguard, which I think would make it the late 90s. One is labeled 2NL, but no sticker on the other one. I am assuming it would be a "B" something, but really do not know.

Same guitar all night, multiple tunings, a bank of pedals, super engaging. He used a different tuning on nearly every song but was so quick about it - while talking to the crowd - that it didn't affect the flow at all. Superb playing - if I were to be hypercritical there was maybe one slightly muted note all night, but otherwise spot on. I luckily had an unobstructed view of the 4-foot-high stage from the flat floor (shitty folding chairs) and the room sounded great. In fact, the room (which did actually sell out) was about the perfect size for the type of stuff he does - too much bigger and the fine details might get lost. And there was a shitload of fine details. I caught myself more than once with my mouth wide open at what just happened (see what I did there?). A very cool - and inspiring - show. Get tickets NOW.

It’s a great piece of kit no doubt! Almost like a tremolo version of the Evertune system (I didn’t get on with that tbh). Price will stop people buying it unfortunately. A properly setup Floyd is good enough for me…

Nope… I bought something that was a decent used price on a Monday. When the promo came out later that week, they adjusted it for me Pretty happy. If your purchase is within the last 45 days, you should ask them to adjust it (basically they return it and rebill it)

Well aware of that, too. BUT... can the Kahler Steeler do drop D or any other number of alternate tunings without a D Tuna and/or unlocking the nut? Do the saddles on the Steeler have 3 direction adjustability to set almost any intonation, action or string spacing? Seriously though watch the video- they list, in much greater detail, it's attributes and capabilities. I can save you and anyone else a good bit of time and pointless debate by saying I've done my due diligence in researching the options. Ya know, like, trem systems are kinda my thing.
