Hah! That does look bad. I keep looking at all those Hamer shredders of yours and thinking that I've gotta bring my Chap Custom out of semi-retirement!

Here's a pic of mine that was in VG a few years back...

All I have at the moment of mine, even though it's not as "silver", but rather a metallic pearl surf green color, but you get to see THREE HFCers in the byline!

Have you seen more holes in a guitar ! Aack !!

They obviously did not use a template when routing.

And what's with the dowels in the front corners?

Isn't that just Gibson-style weight relief?

Man, that's nothing. Check out this Japanes LP I had at one time. The seller did not disclose this, claiming he knew nothing about it. However, he had the pickups and all the electronics changed out.

the wood dowels are there because the back mounting screws for the fender-style hardtail fall right on the edge of the 'routing' for the Kahler. I feel like Quincy doing an autopsy.

somebody could patch this and make it better - after seeing that Sunburst with the metal plate on it, anything seems possible (but not on my dime - got enough projects already lol).

Stonge, er, "Quincy" - that's EXCELLENT!! :D

My favorite is "oops"!

Or sell it to me, per my want ad. I'm starting to think I need to pretend to be a female guitar player to get any attention on this board. :P

That one was made for Fernando Von Arb of Krokus (his name's on the headstock). It would take a lot of $$ to pry that one out of my hands! All original-note the non-labelled OBLs and the ringed hum OBL!

That one is in a video or two as well. Just can't recall which one(s) right now.

Nice explanation. Thanks.

Picture snipped

I know what that one has, but, I'm thinking you've had both, so Kahler or Floyd? I'm looking at my first "shredder" ever and it has a Kahler of some sort. Not sure what to make of that; anyone else feel free to chime in (PM is cool as it's OT here).

For the right price, I don't think that's too bad. But it seems like they are being a little amibitious on the price.
