    Downton: go walk (and eat) Chinatown & Litle Italy, both very cool enclaves. Browse for cheap stuff on Canal Street whist there. Get a treat (pastery/after dinner drink/ coffee) at Ferrara's on Grand Street in Little Italy. (Enrico Caruso's favorite post-perfirrmance hang-out).

    Depending on guitar used and venue: Fender '57 Tweed Twin RI Engl Blackmore Bogner Ecstasy Matchless DC-30 Matchless Clubman Red Iron T-Rex I keep a JBL EON around for acoustic amplification, and silverface Fender Princeton Reverb & VibroChamp for low volume/in house playing/practicing.

    Twice over the past couple months I've tried to place an order. Try to put stuff in the cart; it won't go. Try to fill out a registration form; no dice. I've tried this on 2 different PCs so I think it's a site problem. Too much wasted effort, IMO. Who runs this thing?

    The one I had was not good. I bought it used and blame it on the guy who spec'd it out. Suhr will pretty much build whatever you order. Some folks should stay away from the pad & pencil.

    Hadicus Road is 45 - 53, I think. We do Classic Rock, a little blues/R&B, and some new stuff that seems to 'fit'. We'll stop when they stop coming out to listen. This past year has been pretty damn good, thank God. We've worked every month at a minimum..... and that's enough for me these days.
