I prefer Suhrs to Andersons for 3 reasons: 1) Andersons feel like a modern 'improved' version of a classic. Suhrs feel like more like a traditional Fender, with unsurpassed playability. The ones I played were very hard to put down. Not because I was GASsing or feeling greedy; they were such a joy to play. 2) Anderson pick-ups have the 2 love/ hate camps. Unless the p-ups are in Pro Am, put me in the second of the 2 camps. Suhrs sound wonderful, but many gripe saying that they are too weak, not understanding that tone will be sacrificed for a beefed up sound. 3) For $1600, you can buy a Suhr Pro Series PLEKed. Considering the cost of sending in a guitar to get PLEKed, these are the true bargain answer for those that want to play rather than sniff corks all day. There is a custom Suhr in my future, just as soon as the judge in Seattle releases a few mil. to an old friend. But that is another story.

For me, it was holding my Californian Elite, while in front of my reflection and all I could think of was, "dork". There are now no longer any reflective areas visible when goofing on the guitar.

The only one one that will *not* change the sound of your guitar or amp is the Xotic BB Preamp. It goes from clean boost, to moderate, to medium gain. The note definition is spectacular. Some guy on here, BCR something or other sells them. I recon you should give the man a call. They are *that* good.

The Virtual series Dimarzios kick all sorts of ass that I would never have imagined. I wouldn't bother with the foo foo 'booteak' flavour of the week, unless if your playing and related gear warrant it. It's in the fingers, anyway.

Nice amp. Demeter also uses a PPIV. I was watching one on eBay that went for about $485 in the UK, btu the shipping would have been terrible. If I didn't just get a Marshall Studio 15 for about 40% off the price that it is in the US, I would be envious. Congrats. The original speaker in those, I have read, were terrible. In regards to your question, how many Marshall cabs have 30 watt speakers, using 100 watt heads?
