  1. I didn't. I figured you had lost interest when you didn't say anything after:
  2. It's roughly 49x19x6. Built like a tank but as light as a truck. I can get some pics later if you're genuinely interested but unless you're non-stop traveling and use no-shit gorillas for roadies it's not at all practical.
  3. I've got an original Hamer issue "Star Case" flight case I'd let go for less than that.
  4. Robin Avalon 2010 - Salmon Pink As new, a 1998 last run I thought it was a 2000 which is when the shop closed, my bad I bet he's fun to talk to. He's also got an '80 Hamer special for sale that was apparently owned by a crazy Finn at some point. Head stock has been "repaired on". Looks like the work was done in Paw Paw.
  5. Oh boy... "Mint condition, stated as very good, because when it came to my hands from its first owner, it had been already repaired in the neck from a break below the headstock. Was professionally repaired and re lacquered by a top luthier, and is mint ever since..."
  6. I look at these types of projects in the same way I do the space program in that what was learned doing one thing changed how we did things across many different industries. But ffs this thing is hideous.
  7. The tour at Sun tells a longer story, where Elvis had done several sessions at Sun over six months, and while Marion Keisker (who worked the front desk at Sun) repeatedly told Sam that Elvis had something, he wasn't buying it until he eventually heard Elvis do this song.
  8. It's three wall switches...you can't remember what each does? Great pics...the WPS5 must exude the 'tude.
  9. That's actually a cool idea...a photo or two of the local sightseeing treasure(s) to chronicle its travels.
  10. As shared on Facebook: Neck/Mid vol Bridge vol Master Tone
  11. I'm excited for more photos. 12 pages and only 17 unique pictures of 4 guitars!
  12. "'twas a GREAT day for __________" it is then
  13. Made in W. Germany. Nice throwback.
  14. For those that don't do Facebook, there's never been a better reason to join.
  15. Hence the trouble of not actively gigging. With no focus/setlist, we bedroom players can fall into the trap of thinking we need to own at least one of every guitar used for every style of music.
  16. It depends on the character of the wood for me. I really like something like this, where the lines are random and look quite natural This lacks character and does nothing for me. Unfortunately, many of Hamer's later tops fall into this category.
  17. What type of trem rout is that?
