  1. I just bought a 1994 Duotone only to find out the wiring has been butchered. If anyone has a USA 3Hole Duotone that they don't mind taking pictures of their innards please place them here or PM them to me. I also need close ups of the volume and tone circuit board. Also if any one knows of a schematic that would really be cool for the acoustic preamp board. Thanks!!! Jeff
  2. I'm wondering it that isn't a chunk of Lebonese blond hash they're going to share!!!
  3. Blackstar makes some great sounding amps... but .... if they stop making that great sound they are a sum of a gum to repair! Most parts are tiny surface mount examples. Hot air gun, high magnification and a really steady hand required!! The less expensive models just go to the bin...
  4. Take those deep breaths!!! You got this! You won't believe how much better you'll feel!
  5. Got 2 off, cheap gear, total garage band! But it's music made with Hamers!
  6. Trying to get some rough tracks ready to go. Hopefully today! Is the 28th a dead stop?
  7. I'll bring 2, 3 if it requires an acoustic. Small combo amp, medium pedal board. I've been fiddling with the Line 6 stuff again. I hated it before, just didn't sound right. They've improved. Bar Gigs are far and Few between after I turned 70. But the house party kinda thing is still fun. Play songs people like to sing along with. Everybody's happy! No fist fights or flying bottles....
  8. Buy it online and have it shipped to him with all the right stuff. No hassles!!! Let Amazon deal with that!
  9. Great score! I have always preferred SG's over Lester's. Just fit me better, the upper fret board is more accessible. I have a reissue set up for slide. They really shine in the glass meets string world!!!
  10. This would have been perfect for Jim Irsay! RIP!
  11. Back in the day David Allen Coe. Pat Severs of the Pirates of the Mississippi. Blaine Eits is one of my best friends. He's done a ton of work with the Nashville crowd. He worked with Red Volker just a while back. Here he is with this unknown!
  12. Interesting guitar! I have a Suhr Alt T. It's not my number 1 but it's a Hamer USA level instrument. Enjoy!!
  13. I've had a few. My favorite was a Reinhardt 18 which was a TMB clone. As I got older I wanted cleaner/moreheadroom. So I ùse a Deluxe Reverb or a 5E3 at àround 3. I think it's the 6v6 vsEL84 sound difference.
  14. I tried to use that schematic. But the Rangers layout was different than the Duel. I think the Ranger may have morphed into the Duel. Great sounding amps! Both of them!!
  15. I just repaired a Peavey Ranger amp. 120 watts of all tube power. I was amazed on the clean channel it was in Fender Twin clean sparkle territory. On the "Dirt" Channel it would go into Metal Zone! I'd never heard of this Model and had to contact Peavey for Schematics. This Peavey is a sleeper big time! 2-12" eminence speakers. Peavey gets the redheaded stepchild treatment... but I can remember entire backlines of their amps and many playing there guitars! It's Vintage American Made Goodness now!!!
  16. I watched that too. Also been watching Chris's YouTube channel for a couple years. The experiences they've had while touring are great info for anyone thinking about taking a band out on the road. Their last American tour was sold out so they're gaining ground!! As far as getting a Yammy Hammy.... not for me....
  17. Yaaaay Stike!!! ROCK N ROOOOOOOLLLLLLLL!!!!
  18. Look at your top. When a Acoustic drys out in the winter the top starts to shrink into the guitar. Time for humidity!!! The key was it happened after 5 weeks just enough time to draw the top down. Put a straight edge on it. See if it's sucked in. If it is the damp bathroom towel and guitar in a black garbage bag usually cures it. Not a wet towel a barely damp Towel and it cannot be touching the guitar. Or take it to a luthier and they'll probly due the same thing! I call it intensive guitar care!
  19. Want! I could build 10 amps out that monster!!!
  20. I remember using JBL's and EV's because that what amps came with back in the day. They where loud and brite. Your headed in the right direction with your recone choice!
  21. Waiting for the HFC Sale! I thought they sounded great!
  22. WOW!!! Just WOW!!! One lucky fella!! I love to hear there are still things like this going on in this crazy world!!
  23. I still have my 6G6B. Since I built myself a Deluxe Reverb it's been Idle. Now for sale. Tough to beat the DR tone!!
