  1. It's all they say it is! You pick it up and it's like an old friend!
  2. If you have one you want to sell PM Me! Thanks!!!
  3. This! Out of sight. There might be an existing hole to the anchor closest to the controls. You can use a pipe cleaner or a stiff small wire to see if it goes into the stud hole. When you strip the wire strip back an inch or so. Seen to many times where a small amount stripped back doesn't make contact. Shit I didn't see Jeff's responce!! Yes!! Just like Jeff says!!!!
  4. WTF??? That sounds like shit to me. Pity da fool .... what would you ever use it for. JHS and EH have combined to build a pedal I would prefer.... this: https://www.musicradar.com/guitars/jhs-pedals-x-electro-harmonix-big-muff-2-dual-opamp-book-made-on-earth-for-rising-stars
  5. I would take the screws out and I think you'll find they are distorted in some fashion. Wore on one side, or bent. The metals they use in Asian builds is not as good as the hardened screws made in the USA. Then replace with the immediate next size larger USA hardened screw of the same length. That would be my first approach just looking at the picture.
  6. This has been one of my favorites for years. Barely broke in!! Lol!!
  7. I have used Moises. It's an AI app that breaks the music down to individual instruments. Does all the speed up slow down(I have not used this) Anyway it's like playing with the band because the guitar is turned down. Works for drums bass and keys too.
  8. It's always neat when things bring you back to happy times. Like playing at a ballroom you played at 30 years ago and still finding your name on the dressing room wall!! History!! As you age things disappear...including best friends.
  9. I do get the cabinets from Mojotone which is authorized by Fender. The Name plates and medallions are from an authorized Fender parts distributor. The Faceplates don't come up very often, and are expensive, I suspect they are overruns. This amp sounds incredible! Just like 1964!!
  10. I've been building these for a while. Just thought I'd offer one here. At this price you cannot build one like this for the same money. So I'm basically recovering the parts money to build something else. Built just like a 1964 ab763 Deluxe Reverb. All premium components. Heyboer Transformers, Sozo Blue Caps. New EH tubes! If you put in ANOS RCA/GE/ any vintage tube this hits all the marks. Still fantastic with EH tubes, Vintage tubes = Hot Apple pie!!! If you want the Duplicate Deluxe Reverb faceplate add $sold $sold shipped, Lower 48 only! PM Me if interested.
  11. I still have 2 Artist's and wish I still had my NewPort Pro. In comparison I found the Newport to be smoother/mellow with the spuce top. The Newport is the only Hamer I didn't switch pickups in. The Seth Lover's where perfect in that guitar. In comparison to a Gibson 390 or 339 the fit and finish of the Newport and Artist are better. Tone?.... to me they all rocked!
  12. I'm digging the Chrome pickguard!!!
  13. This was my favorite Rod Stewart period. With the Faces. Their recordings are raw and real. No fancy studio stuff, just solid Rock&Roll.
  14. Historic Fuzz tones. Was 179.99 now 89.99. I bought a Bender. Jhs makes good stuff. Just go to their website.
  15. That is the image I used to tell which tenon it has!
  16. That was a short search! I was hunting on my phone during movie night and my son asked what I was looking for. I told him a SG with a long Tenon. This morning he comes over carrying a guitar case and said if you like it it's yours. So I opened the case and this was inside! A 2002 SG Standard from what I can gather. Has the long tenon! He bought it new from WestSide music in LA. Never played it. Didn't like it, preferred the Strat I gave him. With this and getting my pain meds back it's been a fantastic week 🤗 WOW!!!
  17. Thanks to all! I have an Eastman DC Jr with a NC Fralin in it. Feather weight, I rate it with the custom shop Jr's I tried. So I'm thinking the 60's reissue is gonna be the ticket. I just looked at the new Custom Shop models and I personally don't think they're worth what the hang tag is asking. I still have my old friend Hamer Special, just looking for something else to play for a while!
  18. Like the title say's! I searched and found out enough to know I needed help. I'm looking for a newer model with the long neck tenon. SG historians let it fly.
  19. I've got 2 lovely 12vrs! Newport with Birdseye Top and Veillette Gryphon. The Gryphon is high strung and sounds like a mandolin. Plays like a guitar. Really fun instrument.
  20. Aren't Tone King and Freidman and a few others made in the same place? Seems I watched Dave give a tour, lots of stuff going on in that warehouse!!
  21. I was watching Phil on Know Your Gear and he mentioned it. I'm in the "Fender will absorb it like the blob." Then start shitting out crappy G&L's. American G&L guitars are great guitars...BUT... They are so close to Fenders those that can't tell a good guitar from a crappy guitar are going to buy the name on the headstock. The best Strat's I've ever owned where not Fender Custom shop made and I had plenty of them. They where a Hamer Daytona and a Meloncon. Fenders custom shop strats where fussy, didn't like the weather changes guitars have to endure in the Dakota's.
  22. I've been using the UA OX Box for a while now. The attenuator feature works better than any other I've used before. Keeps me under control and it's got a bunch of different speaker emulations to send to the FOH. If they want it really quiet I put on a set of K240's. I can still hear every one else and my guitar is hot in my ears.
