I sold all my Hamers with bound necks... except the 12 string Newport for the reasons stated above. I guess I have an extra big warble... I am so lusting for a Schishkov and so jealous of those that have one. Someday..... Someday...

Oh how true! Bar Gig's still pay almost what they did in the 80's. We played from Tues night to Sat night most weeks. $4000.00 Minus the usual expenses. Agent, Sound and lighting, ect. In the 80's and 90's. I don't think anyone is getting much more than that around here now.

Just the normal clams, crawdads and fish. The really like small Perch. They eat those in 1 bite!!

I have river Otters in front of my lake house. Just a treasure to watch. They're learning how to open clams with a rock now! Very clever and shy critters.

If memory severs me correctly we had a donation drive a few years ago. I guess it's time to have another drive to help Ted out. Perhaps @cmatthes can pin it to the top for a while?

Any early eighty's Made in Japan Fender. They are better instruments than the made in USA Fenders of that period.

The P 90 Gold Tops Rock, Heavy as hell, but rock monsters. I just loaded mine with the Vintage Vibe Guitars p-90s, Pete sent me all of his AlNiCo magnets for the P90's and they all sound good but for now I have the AlNiCo 5 in the bridge and the AlNiCo 3 in the neck. They don't have the volume the stock Duncans have, but what they lack in power they put on in mojo tone. Plugged into my Boogie Mark IIB it's tone heaven. Not to bad into my AA165 Blackface Bassman either.

I'm still partial to Skunk Baxter's stuff from the 70's, and Don Felder is still a legend for awesome tasty chops. My ultimate hero is Les Paul, I've spent a lifetime trying to learn what he did in a few years.

I've got 2 - 2000 something one off Custom Shop Strats and the build quality is not near the build quality of my Hamers. The CS Strats are much closer to my 82' Japanese Strat, which I think is the best guitar of the 3. I'm still looking for a Cali...... I hope they don't Touch Hamer USA. Very Sad news
