Just an update. Another week has gone by. No message from seller. Nothing from reverb, they keep telling me they'll contact me via email. Nothing...

I posted a while back I had bought a beautiful 1994 USA DuoTone. Inititially I was suspect, I could tell this guitar had been cased for a long time. Electronics didn't work, fret board and bridge where super dry. I gotta say after giving this guitar some love a clean up/fix up full set up it's one of the finest guitars I own. Incredible playability and tone. What a fantastic job Hamer did building these in the mid 90's. I absolutely love it!!!

I've been trying to talk to a human at Reverb for nearly a week. It's "Trem" the AI idiot or nothing. Trem likes to take you down avenues that have nothing to do with the issue at hand. And then wanted to close my account. It's a simple issue. I paid for a pedal, never got it. So I want my money back. Trem insists that I return it. I ask for a brain. He continues to act like I have the pedal. I ask for a brain. I didn't get the pedal. Tracking shows the closest that pedal got to me was Seattle. I live in Florida. I call, another voice tells me to use brainless and hangs up. So far I'm out $236.00 and have not spoken to a human. Reverb... your customer support sux ass!!!

That's exactly what I intend to do. It gives me one more plate to spin to add to the overall outsound. I used to have an acoustic on a stand. This is going to be fun!!!!

This came up in a conversation after I purchased my DuoTone. From what I've read the model just didn't catch on. So sales where limited. Any guesses on how many 3 holers and the the F hole Duotones where made?

It didn't work when I got it, but with the help of fellow HFC'rs everything is working great now. I alway's wanted a 3 Hole DuoTone! Now I have one!! And it's beautiful!!

That one is a different value. It's the volume pot. The probly ran out of black ones. All of mine say "Made in Spain" I'm still trying to figure out where the circuit board was made. I do know that PCB's from the 80's had a tendency to be tan. I'm thinking about building new PCB's. I think if I send one in they'll clone it. Then it just add the parts! Surface mount parts...I hate those tiny things....

Thank's Guys!! I got it all working! The Preamp circuit board is tan on this 1994 model and has some bad tracings. So that's gonna take a bit. Just jumpers for now! Thanks Again!!! Another Hamer has risen from the doesn't work stuck in a closet to a player once again!!!

I just bought a 1994 Duotone only to find out the wiring has been butchered. If anyone has a USA 3Hole Duotone that they don't mind taking pictures of their innards please place them here or PM them to me. I also need close ups of the volume and tone circuit board. Also if any one knows of a schematic that would really be cool for the acoustic preamp board. Thanks!!! Jeff

Blackstar makes some great sounding amps... but .... if they stop making that great sound they are a sum of a gum to repair! Most parts are tiny surface mount examples. Hot air gun, high magnification and a really steady hand required!! The less expensive models just go to the bin...

I'll bring 2, 3 if it requires an acoustic. Small combo amp, medium pedal board. I've been fiddling with the Line 6 stuff again. I hated it before, just didn't sound right. They've improved. Bar Gigs are far and Few between after I turned 70. But the house party kinda thing is still fun. Play songs people like to sing along with. Everybody's happy! No fist fights or flying bottles....

Buy it online and have it shipped to him with all the right stuff. No hassles!!! Let Amazon deal with that!

Great score! I have always preferred SG's over Lester's. Just fit me better, the upper fret board is more accessible. I have a reissue set up for slide. They really shine in the glass meets string world!!!

This would have been perfect for Jim Irsay! RIP!
