It's been talking about the pickup selection for the Talladega pro. The Pro was introduced in '08 that fits with my mind relating the article content. ...now outpaced by the Double Ds. With all that arguing, I think it is a nice article to read if you don't have too much insight.

While reading the article, I wondered I had read this article before. I am sure he wrote about the human voice lesson before. Can't remember where. Maybe he has been written about it in the workshop blog. Since I had not searched for it, I can't confirm though.

Great score MCChris! I ever thought the Mirage series lived far to short. On the other hand it makes them even more sought after.

As far as I'm concerned, I remember sayings on the board in the past, that the Hamer Standards come closest to the LP sound. At least, the Standards have a similar amount of Mahogany to compete with the sick body of a LP. The swinging wing of a Standard provides a great fundament to the sound. The rest is electronics though that should be equal for a fair comparison.

Is this one chambered already? Jol once said they started chambering the Standards in 2007.

It seems the Jr. has momentum at the moment. Obviously a great player, simple to produce, discountable, either bass or guitar, and the forenamed logo would make it a nice HFC signature. To serve everybody it should be 2 pickups rather than bridge only.

How about the checkerboard logo? 'HFC' put right in the middle of the checkerboard string - quite below the 'M'.

Drums as a young kid, guitar today. I truly respect voice, that is a living instrument and one you cannot hide yourself behind it.
