The guitar is NOT A.I. of course.

It seems to be a typical Korina Jr, just painted pink. It includes the very manly Seymour Duncan "hot" P90 pickup that many people love to hate. Different knobs and without the normal dogear-style pickup cover. Internet suggests it was sold once by L.A. Guitar Center "used" and then in a charity auction.

I mean, if you want to play Mississippi queen all day, they are PERFECT. Just not sure why Hamer decided that the HOT P90 for the neck and CUSTOM P90 for the bridge was the way to go. They were taller than normal P90s, so they had to route out more material. I guess they didn't want the "standard" low out put SP90-1 pickups.

So when I plugged it in nothing came out. Luckily it appears to be just the output jack. Works well enough after jiggling the cord to remind me that P90s are noisy.  Going to try some contact cleaner on it today but new jack may be in my future. Some small dings but other than that no complaints and no initial obvious differences from other Hamer Jrs I have played.

Output jack is fine. It was operator and/or cable error. 🤔

I dunno, have you looked inside a 90's Gibson LP or SG case recently? 😂

 I believe my old Peaveys may qualify as "some more pink", given the matching headstocks.

20+ years ago I had a Hamer FB in pink. At the time things were tough times, sold it to a fellow HFC'er who may still have it. Sold a Septer with LED in the neck at the same time. 

 

BTW:  I got that Scepter in a straight up trade, for a late 90's PRS Customer 24.
