I'm going to call them and tell them XT Series are only worth $350 and see if I can snag it.

I was in the Rockford GC on Sunday trading in several guitars.  I can confirm that the 10% discount is real and there were no pre-discount markups.

I'd established a good rapport with the store manager as we worked through my deal, so I felt comfortable telling him (politely) that he'd be lucky to get $1,500 for that Special.  He was receptive and interested what I thought the issues were. He also told me that prices on all vintage trade-ins were determined by "corporate".  I assume that means the the Hollywood store.

I bought a used Vox AC15HWR1X two weeks before the sale from GC Used (Houston). Last Saturday I contacted my MF rep, and she promptly refunded my card with the 10%.

AND surprisingly, the amp was packed REALLY WELL. I was amazed!

They've done that for me also. 

Bought a used guitar. They started a 10% off sale past my return date but I called anyways. They gave me a 10% refund, no questions asked.

Nope… I bought something that was a decent used price on a Monday.  When the promo came out later that week, they adjusted it for me     Pretty happy.   
 

   If your purchase is within the last 45 days,  you should ask them to adjust it  (basically they return it and rebill it)

On another thread, there was some discussion of the Zelinsky La Voce. Longer discussion, but if someone does have an interest, GC does have a used one at what seems like a pretty fair price (with case upgrade) with the 10% knocked off. FWIW, something less than I paid for mine....
