Looks like someone put a single size hum in the bridge but considering what a dumb shit he is I would say he MAY have lucked into to being right about the pickups.

Stop making fun of my listing!

It took the Watson to make that gem expendable, huh?

It was a hard decision I'm still regretting... I'm gonna pull the auction

I see only one row of poles centered in all three pickups. He probably thinks it is a humbucker because it is black.

If you guys dig a little deeper you'll see:

The username is "biggshady" (big shady?); a clue in itself...

He's also listed a fender squier Strat that looks curiously like a Squier Telecaster.

Could have been just a brain fart, you know....

Are illiterate red-state dwellers not allowed to sell on eBay?

Sure, it all starts with an innocent politcal jab. Next, it's a FS/FT post on the main board. Then a nudie avatar pic...after that? Chaos, I tell ya!

Peace,

MoJohn

Some of the oddest things happen on ebay. I have a co-worker who bought an open-reel stereo tapedeck in the early 70's which uses aluminum tape sensors for the auto-reverse feature. Since open-reel decks have not been something many people have opted to use for listening to their tunes in about 20 years, this aluminum sensing tape has become difficult to find. My friend found some which was sold in a package of 12 rolls and paid about $15.00 for it. Realizing he would never use 12 rolls before he dies...heh...he decided to put a roll of it on ebay just to see what happens. The first roll sold for over $40.00! No kidding! He put another roll up for auction but it only sold for a mere $23.00. He's been too scared to sell the rest because he is afraid someone will come looking for him. LOL!

So, basically you have oddities on both sides of the auctions. Don't you love ebay?

My opinion, if they can't make a reasonably

coherent ad, then there's no way in hell they

are capable of

describing it without missing a bunch of

dings, and god knows what

packing it securely

getting your money and shipping it in a reasonable

time frame.

last week, I got a kickass deal on a digital recorder,

but the ad had a TON of spelling errors which should

have been a red flag. I got it, the thing was fine but it

was filthy and had a bunch of nicks on it, after his ad

said "practecally brand new".

my fault, I should have known...

Hah. Also a bad sign when someone hangs a strap over half the guitar before photo'ing it. Maybe he should have just thrown a sheet over the headstock.

I agree, when you purchase something over the web you want the guy on the other end to be as detail-oriented as possible.

Hey. You guys are interrupting a perfectly good flame war in it's infancy. Shame on you!

Edited to add: I sent the beaver cartoon to my wife at work. Hee hee
