RedLizard Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I recently bought Lord of the Jungle's USA Studio Custom and now it and my USA Studio are constantly vying for my attention and bickering like school girls. To end the madness, I'm selling the Studio. The Studio is in 9.90 condition with just one tiny, pen tip sized, light indentation on the back that keeps it from being mint. When I say tiny, I mean tiny - see pic below (dirty fingernail included for reference). Anyway, no issues of any kind and it sounds fantastic. The neck is medium sized, not too big and definitely not small. All original and will come with OHSC, also in super shape. Serial number is 151696. Pickups are Duncan '59's. There are a ton of pictures here >>>> http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v216/Red...Hamer%20Studio/ One thing you'll immediately notice is that this isn't your normal Studio finish. Undoubtedly, it was a custom order, as I've never seen anything like it on a Studio. It is silver on every surface, except the face of the headstock. That's right, silver face, silver sides, silver back, silver neck and silver back of the headstock. From the front, it looks like a typical finish - only when you look at it from behind or a severe angle do you notice the unique finish. Very cooooooool I don't know if this makes it rare, unique or both, but it ain't your father's Hamer, that's for sure. I'm thinking $800 + shipping is a fair price for this minty, unique gal. I'd like to keep it in the family, rather than eBay it, so break open your piggy banks. No trades please. Below are a few pics to tempt you. The true color is best shown in the bottom three pics. Hit me with a PM or email with questions.... or post them here.
DavidE Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 I've had two Vanguards (mahogany Artists) done in that finish (one a P90 and the other a humbucker version). I don't think I've seen it on a studio before. Very cool.
Bluesking Posted April 24, 2007 Posted April 24, 2007 PMs sent.......not sure if they went through. Please PM me back either way.Bluesking

RedLizard Posted May 1, 2007 Author Posted May 1, 2007 OK, $800 shipped in CONUS. If nobody steps up this week, it goes to eBay on Sunday and some snot nosed 16 y.o. shredder wannabe will likely get it. Nobody here wants to see that, right?
RedLizard Posted May 11, 2007 Author Posted May 11, 2007 For anyone who gives a poop, this one is now catching a freight train to Statesboro, where I hear they got the blues so bad, even Grandma's cryin'..at least that's what the Allman Bros. say.
tomteriffic Posted May 11, 2007 Posted May 11, 2007 Wish I could have pulled the trigger on that one.
