I say let them import Les Pauls and Export all of the Sunburst to the US...( To Me )

I do have to say that I'm suprised that they have not cornered the market on Standards...

Steve auctions a TON of gear off for charity things.. and the prices ALWAYS goe through the roof on his used gear.. he does everything from old mics and studio pre's, compressor.. stomp boxes..cabs.. and guitars and all of it always goes.

They'll have to if they want that guitar since it's under the reserve at 10K. But hey, if I was rich, I'd be all over that guitar, so I don't think they'll have any problem selling it.

That's cool, learn something new everyday. I admire Vai's dedication to his craft, though his stuff isn't necessarily always my thing.

I do have one album that's got some cool stuff on it. What's it called...hmm, the one when he recruited that singer with the bald head, came out sometime mid nineties. Anyways, didn't much care for that singer, but I remember a couple of instrumental tracks on it I was really impressed with.

He did some pretty amazing things with a Digitech Whammy pedal, I've wanted to try one ever since.

Sex and Religion with Devin Townsend as the singer. I don't have the album, but I have a couple Devin Townsend albums and the songs range from huh? to damn good! He's a pretty good guitar player too.

Yeah, Devin Townsend can scream like a mutha. I remember when Steve Vai had that line up play on Jay Leno.

After "the Attitude Song" insert in GP which was great, I kinda got bored with Steve Vai's stuff pretty quickly.

Still, he's "likeable" and the charity stuff is very cool.
