JGale Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!Is there a more more better seriously prettier finish on a Hamer guitar extant!?I think not!
kizanski Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 Slight thread hijack here...but I always felt that Hamers would have apealed to more ppl had they had a better looking headstock. Some of the first ones (?) ...or some older one I saw had a really cool, stylish headstock. Not sure what they were thinking to go with such a plain, big, ugly headstock. It's easily the ugliest thing on a lot of their models. I would call it canoe paddle-like but that would be an insult to canoe paddles everywhere! That's a bit more than a "slight thread hijack." And what part of... "Don't step or crap on someone's "For Sale" post. This includes comments pertaining to an asking price which you feel might be too high, that you also have one of these for sale, or your general dislike for the model or brand of the item in question (or for the seller for that matter). Also, do not make offers, lowball or otherwise, as a reply in the poster's thread. That's what the Private Message feature is for." ...don't you understand?
serial Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 That guitar was an awesome one. One of the best Hamers I've owned and I've owned a LOT. If I still played Floyds, it would never have left the house. I think it looks better in person too.BMenary is great to deal with too.
Guest pirateflynn Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 I would have bought that one from serial if I wasn't all thumbs around a Floyd. A super looking guitar!

I've been a member here for many years and that wasn't my intention. I deleted my post and put it somewhere more appropriate. It truly is one of my fav guitars I've seen. Good luck with the sale!
bmenary Posted April 30, 2008 Author Posted April 30, 2008 PirateFlynn MAN- Time to learn the Floyd- It's a lot of fun and puts a nice touch on any style playing-
Guest pirateflynn Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 PirateFlynn MAN- Time to learn the Floyd- It's a lot of fun and puts a nice touch on any style playing-I had my share of Andersons back in the day ..... never could get the hang of 'em. That is such a cool guitar. Best of luck with the sale.
RacerX Posted May 2, 2008 Posted May 2, 2008 It's true this one is even better looking in person... Stunning top and burst. Mark.
atquinn Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 No interest from anyone??More likely, no money from anyone (at least that's my predicament).-Austin
Jeff R Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 Ditto, ditto, ditto! I swapped a coupla e-mails with Serial the first time it came around I wanted it so bad, it's perfect for a guy like me, but it's just outta my ballpark.
silentman Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 I'd loved to have this one too, but sadly all I have is $350.
Yeahmann Posted May 6, 2008 Posted May 6, 2008 i'll throw my 2 cents in as well and say that interest isnt the problem. . that is one cool guitar! Serial had that and the really cool SS with the LED's and both guitars are awesome. This one is particularly right on for the floyd player. I doubt many opportunities to own a guitar like this will come our way. i can imagine there are more than a few tempted out there. it'll find a home.
