I'm just the messenger here, I usually search ebay for "Hamer USA", but sometimes I just go "Hamer" to see what comes up. This is one of the ones that came up. but I gotta save up for a Standard. hamertek98 Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Very glad I'm broke at the time. But ya never know! Thousand bucks would be great for a boomered tele.
Guest hectorp Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 I owned this one for a while...got it from someone here (Marty). It's a cool guitar. The maple neck is very rare.I love the TLE neck profile...which is wide but thinnish...which some makes for easy riffing. Love the blade switch. The combination of the bridge humbucker and the middle single coil has an awesome sound.Cool instrument.
jginsj Posted July 10, 2008 Posted July 10, 2008 Don't own all the rest of them, I've been laying low...I'm out on the Custom, I'm strictly a sustain block guy, and no long scales for me either. Those are the two things I love about the TLE, short scale sustain block, with a wide, thin neck...and for some reason they have a different "feel" than a Special, the fretboard feels more "to the left" if that makes any sense...
