bubs_42 Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 This is a very Clean Vector ! http://cgi.ebay.com/HAMER-USA-VINTAGE-1981...1QQcmdZViewItem
Bloozguy Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 Somebody tell me that I needed another guitar...Of course I didn't have a Vector.
cmatthes Posted July 16, 2008 Posted July 16, 2008 The seller did drop the price - it was $2,150 earlier this week!
Bloozguy Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 The seller did drop the price - it was $2,150 earlier this week! At $2,150 I wouldn't have even looked at it. Was $1,500 a good price?
bizzwriter Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 That one was purdy -- maybe if I peel all that black and white paint off mine it'll look just like that. Or maybe not...
bubs_42 Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 I don't think so Sir. To prove it to you send it to me and I'll let you know !

On another note, the one I want is the white one on ebay with the boomers. If he would come down a little more on the starting bid, it would be mine !
cmatthes Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 He's come down a few hundred over the last few months. If I were you, I'd make him a reasonable offer - it hasn't sold in a LONG time, and it might be better for him to just move it rather than to keep listing it and whittling away the price. If something isn't moving, it never hurts to see! That is unique Vector.

That is unique Vector. If a Sustain Block dot neck square head Vector can bag $1,500, the guy with the white one with the boomers will likely RAISE his price, regardless of how many times he failed to sell it.You could almost defend the minimum bid here (which would surely be the winning bid) if the regular flametop ones have gone up that much.
bubs_42 Posted July 17, 2008 Author Posted July 17, 2008 You guy's have been around, and it's hard to find one that clean. A first year, near mint , it was a good price. As for the white one. It's a hot guitar and I don't think it isn't worth the money, I just have to be carefull what I'm spending. I'v bought some great guitars this year but I don't want to blow all my coin just incase a somthing comes along that's a must...
zorrow Posted July 18, 2008 Posted July 18, 2008 Thanks! I was worried that I really didn't. No, you certainly didn't... I did, you bastard! BTW, the white one with boomers looks very unique to me, but it is true the price is too high. I even wrote to the seller once and he got mad at me because I told him he was going to have a hard time to sell it. He replied with something like "The prices I sell my items is my own business. You know nothing about this guitar to tell me how much it is worth".
