WB GregWind Pickup blowout!

Here's a great Christmas present for yourself....all remaining WB GregWind pickup sets that we sell for $299/set are priced to go at $239/set shipped in the Continental US for HFC members. There are only a few sets left, and when they are gone, they are gone. There will be more GregWinds, but from a different source.

These are fantastic pickups, use the search function on this site to find plenty of positive reviews. Artists like Brad Whitford, Ronnie Younkins, Billy Duffy and more have them in guitars that they actually USE, and many members here have them as well.

Come and get 'em!

Hmm, I still need to buy some Hamer pots, too... I hope you have some sets in zebra/double cream?

I've got three sets. They are really my favorite pickups. They are also the best tapped pickups I've found. Great price for the best stocking stuffer I can think of.

I have finished recording our band CD and The Riff loaded with GregWinds stands out in every track I have used it. Everybody loved the sound. Buy them while you can get at this price! I can send Mp3 with mix if you want to hear them, just PM me your email address.

These are great pickups-too bad about the maker's lack of business sense.

This thread inspired me to pull out my red Les Paul with Gregwinds. Wow, does that guitar sound good. Really inspiring to play-I needed to work on three new tunes for practice with the new band tomorrow and was having so much fun, I ended up working out a half dozen more on top of that.

Lack of business sense?

That is being kind.

I was a fool who ordered a set of WB pickups 14 months ago and have not received them to this day, even after repeated emails, and actual phone conversations with Mr. WB himself.

His products may be great, but I guess I will never know for myself.

I consider my money stolen.

Well, the new GregWinds will be made for me by the venerable Lindy Fralin. We are tweaking the recipe right now and doing prototypes. As soon as they are right, I'll start stocking them again.

I am taking deposits for the new stuff, if anyone wants to get in on the early, low numbered sets.....

Glad you went with Lindy. You're in for a whole new level of pickup consistency and professionalism that most winders just don't have. Plus he's a great guy and really knows what makes pickups tick.

Can't wait to get and hear a set.

Excellent!! I love the Fralin stuff I have and the WB Gregwinds are my all-time favorite pickups (much better than the VooDoos IMHO). Was hitting Scorpions tone last night with the red LP. Never had the bass player stop and say "whoah dude-you nailed that tone!" before. (sniff!) I didn't know he cared...!
