serial Posted October 26, 2011 Posted October 26, 2011 I'll be out this evening with a great midweek gig at the Hershey Lodge for a corporate function with That's What She Said and back out this Friday night at Alibis in Carlisle, PA with TWSS again. Big fun, loud terrific rock and roll with way too many college chicks dancing and up to any manner of hijinks for our Halloween show. Always a blast...

Just for this gig (& for the fun of it) we learned the theme to the film Halloween (ya know- the good one with Jamie Lee Curtis) which we'll use as an intro into Sabbath's Heaven and Hell I also learned the tapped version of Bach's Tocatta and Fugue in D minor (okay the Tocatta portion anyway-lol) which will intro Ozzy's Crazy Train.

Hamer95USA Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 I'm working with Long Gon Bon (AC/DC tribute) on Saturday, Oct. 29th at Brittania Arms British Pub, Cupertino, CA. Any one who's into Bon Scott era AC/DC and is in the Northern California Bay Area is welcome to hang with us at our show. You even get in for free if you dress like Angus Young! It's going to be a loud & rocking good times and I get to bust out the Artist Custom and half stack. Guitar George
Crimsontider Posted October 27, 2011 Posted October 27, 2011 No reason to buy a "real" Hamer, my $100 farse phony works great! Pass the Grey Poupon for those that need it. Vivian Campbell, a celebrity/musician/abductor/felon, plus Pooky from Compton can't all be wrong. I rest my case.

cmatthes Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 The Mutant Genes are reprising last year's Halloween gig this Saturday night...sans Gene #4. Or is that Gene #3? In all the confusion, I forgot!Hopefully, we won't be playing until after 3am this year though!
cloakerz Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Northview community church alpha retreat at stillwood. I get to crank it up and rock this weekend! really!
Morris Davis Posted October 28, 2011 Posted October 28, 2011 Hot Money at the Come Back In in Madison WI. In costume ... And with dancers!
JohnnyB Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Oooh, a shredder solo played on an import over a drum track by a 40-something metalhead on YouTube. That's never been done before! Prediction: Your one-man war against the good people of this forum will end badly, but not for us.

Prediction: Your one-man war against the good people of this forum will end badly, but not for us. 2 things: That was NOT shred guitar, in any way, shape or form. Might have aspired to be but... And I thought this thread was about forum member's gigs coming up & gone by? How'd we get into a pissing match over imports? BTW- Our Halloween gig got 86'd due to the freak Nor'easter that roared up the coast and knocked out power at our venue...
