So what's the strategy on buying concert tickets these days?
My daughter [16 - yes, a female Rush fan - how odd is that? and under the age of 40 - she's likely the only member of that subset] wants me to take her to see Rush and St. Louis is as close to me as they're going to get this tour. I thought about ponying up for the premium seating, that is until I saw the price of $325 each (and they're sold out to boot - what recession?).
So I get on the Ticketmaster site and find some 'best available' seats that are kind of 'meh' for $99 each. Then I happen upon the vividseats.com site and find a complete listing of seats available and at a range of prices.
Anyone do business with vividseats? Are there some better strategies for buying concert tickets these days? For acts coming to Memphis, I used to just call a scalper (legal in Tennessee), but it's been a really long time since I've actually bought concert tickets.
