Welcome to the board btw ;)

PS: The going rate for a 1st sale here is $350 <whistle>

If I had that kinda money, I'd be on this like a rash...

I just had to sell 2 guitars to pay for an 88 Cali I just purchased. Seriously tho, good luck with the sale ;)

Hmm, my daughter did say she wanted a pink guitar  But, if I told my financial manager I spent $1800 on my daughters christmas guitar, it might be in trouble.

Good luck with the sale though, it seems a bad time to be selling guitars.

Welcome to my world. My custom Cali won't move either. :( Bad time of year to be selling high(er) end gear, I guess...

My world as well. Bad time of the economic cycle to be selling anything (at least anything I have for sale). Right now my alternatives seem to be eBay or just sticking it in a closet. Think I'll go with the latter...

Stuff wasn't selling even before the holiday cycle started, unless you were willing to slash prices dramatically. Shite economy, no confidence it'll turn around, trouble everywhere (GC possibly going belly up, Gibson in trouble and cutting prices to move geets, ect) and a glut of product being peddled by merchants and individuals alike all lead to a solid buyers market.

I gave up and just out the geets back in the rack. The only thing I'm up for anymore is trading, and even that's been disappointing.

No one can sell sh*t at the moment over here to. I just let 2 guitars go for 40% less than I would normally. I can't even sell a new Floyd Rose for half-price lately. Everyone is feeling this economic collapse...

Thank you gentlemen for the "votes of confidence" and the updates on our failing economy. Didn't realize so many economists posted on this board. ;) Keep smiling ! Peace and Happiness! bump

I've had a lot of good luck and big fun trading stuff in the past couple years of a soft market.

That's a classic Hamer color.

According to the serial number, I verified that the original color is indeed HOT PINK. Now just a little bit faded. Enjoy !

Hamer had colors called Pink Pearl, Laser Pearl, Flamingo Pink on a 1988 price list. It's probably one of those.

Yep - looks like "Pink Pearl" to me!

Indeed. I originally listed it as Pearl Pink but according to the serial numbers, I was informed it was Hot PInk, just faded. I will re-check. TY for Your attention to detail, gents. bump

Not sure where you verified this from, but the factory logs say "PP" or "pink pearl"-November 24, 1987.

OK, so I called KMD and they forwarded me directly to the Ovation Factory in New Hartford, CT. Apparently they have all information on all USA made Hamers. Left 2 messages and waiting for a callback. To be continued ..... bump
