velorush Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 Would there be a possibility of another post-Christmas, "gee, everyone asked for an Amazon wish list, but paid no attention to said wish list (upon which was clearly displayed as a "Highest Priority" choice, "The Ultimate, An Illustrated History of Hamer Guitars")" buying opportunity?
murkat Posted December 21, 2013 Posted December 21, 2013 word, thunderbird. price, dolla twice. . . . . . Brothers are always last in line
tonemonster58 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Just wanted to give a shout out. Got mine in time for Christmas. What a fabulous book, very well written with lots of drool worthy illustration! Besides that it is a must have for any true Hamerheard to add to their collection. Well done Mr. Matthes and to all those out there that had a hand as a contributor. It is without a doubt my new favorite Non Fiction book. Cheers
Jakeboy Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Mine arrived and it became the perfect Christmas present! Thanks Steve.....it has given me major GAS for a Standard and a Phantom A5.
serial Posted December 27, 2013 Author Posted December 27, 2013 Thanks so much to everyone who has picked these up-it was a very enjoyable project to say the least.
cmatthes Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Gave a signed copy to a neighbor (originally from Arlington Heights). He is also a guitar player, and said he didn't put it down for a few hours.Great stuff, for sure!
RacerX Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Opened mine on Christmas morning, the memories came flooding back. All those NPM pix in black and white make me feel old! Twas artsy at the time I guess :-)Great job Steve and all involved!Mark
velorush Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 As anticipated, I did not receive The Book, but received this as a consolation gift (recommended by Disturber): It's actually very cool (thanks Disturber!), but I still want The Book!
